Client was facing a time out issue when they were trying to get SAP report in MB52 and they have show what they have done to get Report. Below are the screen shots which they have performed in NEP.

Removed Created by and clicked on execute button.

And below screen has been displayed and double clicked on 0510 inventory and then executed the report after 30 min its time is getting terminated this is what the client was facing the issue.

Solution Analysis and Recommendations

After running MB52 with the required variant in foreground, we didn't come across with timeout error. It's taking around 25 min's to process the data, but if you run in the background it's taking around 16 min's. Since the data is more for processing it may take more than 30 min's time. So better to run this Report in the background as shown in the below screen shots.

1. As suggested to client by going to T code MB52 and select program tab and select "Execute in background " as shown in below screen shot.

2. And asked to click on Continue button as shown below screen shot.

3. Click on "Immediate" button as shown below.

4. Click on SAVE button as shown in below screen shot.

Resolution

After running T code MB52 with the required variant in foreground, we didn't come across with timeout error. As its taking around 25 min's to process the data, but if we run in the background it's taking around 16 min's. Since the data is more for processing it may take more than 30 min's time. So we suggested better to run this Report in the background as shown in the above screen shots these is how we have given solution to the client and client was satisfied with the solution.
